Benedict and Jonny Lee Miller at the Laurence Olivier Awards 2011
During Adrian Scarborough’s acceptance speech, when he praises his co stars, JLM actually gives Benedict a ‘well done bro!’ punch. I found this ridiculously adorable.

‘The Times’- Theatre Photoshoot with Benedict Cumberbatch, Jonny Lee Miller, Mark Gatiss, David Tennant and more
Monday, September 3rd, at 10:30 EST. Come one, come all!
so done with sherlock fans in the elementary tag who think they’re being so open-minded and gracious when they tell us that “even though it obviously won’t be as good as sherlock, i’ll still be giving it a try!!”
do u want a medal or
So what is wrong with “Even though it obviously won’t be as good as Sherlock, I’ll still be giving it a try”? I’m all willing to give it a try, I mean, it’s Sherlock Holmes, and it has Jonny Lee Miller an Lucy Liu, so it could be quite entertaining. I may like it and keep watching.
But yes, it obviously won’t be as good as Sherlock. Because 1. Elementary is made by people who want to make money, and BBC Sherlock is made by fan boys. And 2. BBC Sherlock has Benedict, and Elementary has Jonny. And Jonny is a pretty fine actor, absolutely. But Benedict… well, there’s no words to describe his acting abilities. So, obviously, Elementary can’t ever be as brilliant as BBC Sherlock is. But I will give it a try.

↳ ”I don’t know what love is…” - “I will teach you!”
Hey tumblr, I’M BACK. I brought you a gift.
Yes I know this wasn’t their ideas and I don’t mean to offend anybody. I thought this would be amusing, is all. Enjoy!

It won’t be on dvd YET.
The NT has said that they’ve never done a dvd release for any of their productions, but because of the public outcry for one of Danny’s Frankenstein, they are trying their damndest to get one out in the foreseeable future. They have to get consent from everyone who worked on the production, scrape the money together, get permits, etc. It’s a lot of work!
It’s not set in stone, but it’s better than a no!
Posting this again for the newbies.
It was so staggeringly brilliant that I’ll probably write something more later. We got Cumberbatch as the Creature.
The man is a brilliant actor.
The story really moved me, I laughed and I cried. Funny thing: the audience in the theatre and the audience in the cinema didn’t always laugh at the same time. That coincedes with my (limited) experience as an actress: not all audiences respond the same.
I am so overwhelmed.
Pathe Rotterdam, yes? It was truly amazing.
I really wondered if there were any non-Sherlockians/Cumberbitches in the audience. If there were, they must have been slightly intimidated by all the Cumberlove.
Saw it tonight. Wow. Just… wow.
Everybody who has seen it has already said everything there is to say, so I’ll just mention the fact that it was fucking amazing.
Slowly I learnt the ways of humans. How to ruin. How to hate. How to debase. How to humiliate. And at the feet of my master, I learnt the highest of human skills, the skill no other creature owns: I finally learnt how to lie.
